Matt LaFleur Responds to Questions About Mike Zimmer's Weak Handshake After Packers-Vikings
By Michael Luciano

The Green Bay Packers beat up on the Minnesota Vikings 23-10 in primetime last Monday, continuing to poke holes in Minnesota's viability as a contender. After the game, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer all but refused to shake the hand of Packers head coach Matt LaFleur in a fit of what some are calling poor gamesmanship. LaFleur didn't seem too bothered by it, though.
Matt LaFleur didn't have much to say about Mike Zimmer's brief post-game handshake on Monday night: "It is what it is. It's a competitive game. I'll leave it at that." https://t.co/0tsQXHpNxm

Lafleur's Packers came out with a 23-10 win over Minnesota on Monday Night, winning the NFC North in the process. Za'Darius Smith and the Green Bay pass rush smothered Kirk Cousins, who looked lost without Dalvin Cook in the backfield.
Zimmer is a bit more ornery than most NFL head coaches in 2019, but giving LaFleur the limpest handshake in human history after their embarrassment still probably isn't going to go over well in Wisconsin.

Zimmer's poor sportsmanship, if you're a forgiving person, can be overlooked given the circumstances, but it still isn't the best look for Minnesota. Any loss to the Packers stings for the Vikings and their fans, and this one probably cut deeper than most given the circumstances.
