We're only two days away from the start of the NFL regular season, but injuries continue to ravage many teams' depth charts, and it's no different for the Chicago Bears.
Starting TE Trey Burton is listed as questionable for Thursday's primetime Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

According to Bears head coach Matt Nagy, Burton's groin injury has kept him limited in practice. After already having missed OTAs, Burton has been slowly making his way back to game speed.
He's apparently been suffering from this injury since the end of last season, when he sat out the Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which was made infamous by Cody Parkey's missed field goal.
He missed the Wild Card game due to the issue, and as it continued in the offseason, Trey Burton decided to get it fixed before the season. More on the Bears tight end's hernia surgery & when he'll be back at @WGNNews. https://t.co/6yxQDImpGd

If Burton can't suit up, Mitchell Trubinsky will have Adam Shaheen and Ben Braunecker to target at the TE position against a very hungry Packers defense. Nonetheless, the Bears are used to playing without Burton, so Nagy can probably make the proper adjustments.
