Matt Stafford's Wife Kelly Rips Monday Night Football Refs on Instagram for Bad Calls Against Lions

Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions were victimized by some truly terrible officiating on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers, and as a result fell from a potential first-place bid in the NFC North to last (at least temporarily).

Now, the Lions are left to regroup, although their fans and some players are still searching for answers.

They're not getting them from the NFL, leading to several players and even Stafford's wife to take shots at the officials on social media.

By insinuating that the Packers' best players weren't even in the photograph, Stafford is stating that the officials ought to get more credit for, ya know, blowing the game.

On Tuesday, the league did state that they believe the hands to the face call against Trey Flowers, which was individually identified as one of the worst we've ever seen, should not have been called. Of course, this doesn't mean all that much, and while the NFL will call Lions owner Martha Ford, that won't be reflected in the standings.

It might be another long year in Detroit, and for once it isn't even their fault.
