Matthew Stafford officially ruled out to face the Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs may have just caught a break leading up to Sunday's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. Matthew Stafford has been battling an injury and it was up in the air if he'd be good to go for this weekend.

Now, we know that No. 9 won't be able to take the field due to his hurt neck. That's right, the anticipated matchup of Stafford vs. Patrick Mahomes won't be going down.

This has been such a rough year for LA. After winning the Super Bowl last winter, fans were hopeful this team would be in a position to potentially repeat. Yeah, that's not going to end up happening for them this February.
