Matthew Stafford's Wife Kelly Announces on Instagram They're Expecting Another Child Following Brain Tumor Battle

The NFL offseason has been exhausting for Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, given the incessant trade rumors that just won't go away. Luckily for him, he received quite the welcome distraction.
On Sunday, Stafford's wife Kelly revealed on Instagram that the couple are expecting their fourth child this summer.
Great news for the Stafford family. And as Kelly points out, the due date will be before the start of training camp, and won't hinder Stafford's practice scheduling.
Kelly has been through a trying year, as she was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, which is a benign tumor on the brain. She underwent surgery last April, where doctors found an abnormal vein inside her head, which extended the procedure from six hours to 12. The recovery was initially brutal for Kelly, as she had to relearn how to walk a couple of weeks after the surgery, but eventually was able to return to her normal daily routine.
Nearly a year after her horrific health ordeal, Kelly has her focus set on raising her three daughters and baby No. 4. Congratulations to the Stafford family on this terrific news.
