Mavericks' City Jerseys Apparently Leak Online and They're a Rough Sight
By Scott Rogust
Like other professional sports leagues, the NBA is a merchandising juggernaut, specifically in jersey sales. Ever since the Nike takeover, the NBA has seen various teams unveil bold new uniform designs.
The league has introduced the "City Edition" jerseys, with color schemes and logos that relate to the community of each squad. There have been some quality uniforms, like the Notorious BIG-themed Brooklyn Nets kits.
Well, now we give to you the supposed Dallas Mavericks "City Edition" line for this season, which allegedly leaked online.
We're not going to sugarcoat it, these jerseys are hideous. Whoever was in charge of designing the Mavs' uniforms must have been inspired by the hit 90s show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
If you thought those were bad, get a load of the hats.
In case you weren't sold on these apparel items, take a look at the court on which the Mavericks will play on at some point this season at the America Airlines Center.
Good luck trying to concentrate on the game when you're entranced by the neon green and sky blue colors splattered all over the court.
The Dallas Mavericks went from sleek "City Edition" uniforms last year, to these abominations. If these are truly legit, we suggest reconsidering and head back to the drawing board, because these ain't it.
