Meet Mets Star Pete Alonso's Fiancé Haley Renee

Mets star Pete Alonso is set to take some major swings at the Home Run Derby, but thankfully he didn't miss when it comes to life away from the diamond.
Alonso's fiancé Haley Renee has been gaining plenty of popularity on instagram from Mets and baseball fans alike during Polar Pete's sudden ascent to stardom.
Renee is a Michigan State graduate, and they appear to have been dating for several years. Alonso himself attended the University of Florida.
Renee's shared several photos of the young couple out and about in New York, enjoying the scenes while living in the greatest city in the world (yeah we said it).
While Mets fans can be some of the most ruthless in the sport, Alonso's had one supporter throughout his baseball career in Renee, dating back to his days in Gainesville.
Alonso has 30 home runs on the season and is quite clearly leading the race for NL Rookie of the Year, and potentially much more. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old and Renee continue to reap the benefits of such stardom in the Big Apple.
Why not a day on the town?
We wish these two nothing but the best in their future together, as Alonso hopes to be a mainstay in Queens. Thus far, he's proven quite capable.
