VIDEO: Mic'd Up Dom Smith Trolls Mets Teammate and Former 2017 Astro JD Davis Over 'Cheat Sheets'
By Scott Rogust

The Houston Astros are deservedly being verbally eviscerated by their colleagues around the league for their cheating in 2017. Houston behaving arrogantly and playing the victim have made the trolling that much easier for the 29 other ball clubs. In fact, even some members of that Astros squad are receiving friendly fire from their own teammates. During Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, former Astro and current New York Met JD Davis was mic'd up for an inning alongside teammate Dominic Smith. Once the broadcaster asked if Davis had cheat sheets, and Smith was happy to confirm that he has "plenty of cheat sheets."
“JD has a ton of cheat sheets... you know what I’m saying?”

Did you catch his drift?
Perhaps funnier than Smith's comment was Davis' change of emotion in the span of seconds. He went from a huge smile to a look of discontent. Davis notoriously shot down the notion that the Astros stole signs via cameras and trash cans in 2017, but backtracked on his previous comments at the start of Mets spring training.
"You know trash can GIFs and just fun little things like that. We send them all in there."

Dominic Smith tells @MandMWFAN that JD Davis was honest about his time in Houston, but the Mets will still joke around and "let him have it a little bit":

We've said it once and we'll say it again: mic players up for every game in the 2020 season!
