Mets fans and Francisco Lindor end season on the right note

It goes without saying, but there's been plenty of drama and beef between the New York Mets fanbase and Francisco Lindor. The whole 'thumbs down' debacle really was a bad look for everyone involved.
Lindor and Co. obviously felt pretty bad about things, but thankfully, the season has ended on a positive note. That's because Lindor spent a good amount of time signing autographs in Queens following the final home game.
Following the Mets' final home game of the season, Francisco Lindor has been signing autographs down the right-field line at Citi Field for a good 15 minutes since the game ended.

This really is great to see. While the Mets won't be in the postseason this year and they failed to live up to the hype for 2021, there's still plenty of promise for the future of this squad. Yup, 2022 should be a season to remember.
