Noah Syndergaard Has Hilarious Reaction to Media Being Banned From Clubhouse Due to Coronavirus Concerns
By Jerry Trotta

A plethora of sports leagues and organizations around the globe have started to take the necessary precautions to counter the rapidly-spreading Coronavirus epidemic.
That trend extend to the states' four active major sports when the NBA announced it would be temporarily banning media access to players in the locker room. Not long after that news was confirmed, the MLB, MLS and NHL followed suit.
In an effort to combat the nationwide anxiety, New York Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard took to Twitter to post an iconic GIF from NBC hit series, "The Office," in reaction to getting those pesky media types out of his space.

In terms of pulling a scene from a television show or movie, Syndergaard could not have made a better decision. No other scene better sarcastically endorses panic than this one from "The Office."
Thor has taken countless wins on Twitter over the years, and he can go right ahead and chalk up another tally in the W column.
After a conference call with owners Monday evening, MLB remains committed to playing the remainder of the slate of spring-training games as well as opening the regular season on time, sources tell ESPN. That plan, like so many, is contingent on how the coronavirus spreads.

Whoever says comedic relief isn't called for in a time like this is dead wrong.
I mean, last season, the mere presence of media members in the Mets locker room resulted in threats from Jason Vargas. This is certainly a beneficial thing for Mets' team chemistry.
