Celebrate, New York Mets fans. That's because Steve Cohen has gone out and pulled off a major move to help out the rotation. On Wednesday morning, the team officially announced the signing of former Cy Young winner Max Scherzer.

After a short stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Scherzer made his way to free agency and the Mets broke the bank to get him to Flushing.

Scherzer ended up signing a three-year, $130 million deal with New York. That's a whole lot of change. For the righty, he'll be focused on helping this team push for a pennant in 2022 and beyond.
