The Marlins will be considered the home team in this series, which will take place at Hiram Bithorn Stadium.
The two organizations are no strangers to playing each other on the island, as they previously squared off in 2010 at the same location. This will be the fourth time both franchises have played in Puerto Rico overall.

“It’s an honor for the Marlins to represent Major League Baseball in this special series against the Mets,” Marlins CEO and co-owner Derek Jeter said in a statement. “Miami serves as the gateway to the Caribbean and Latin America, and we are grateful for the chance to showcase the new Miami Marlins organization to our neighbors in Puerto Rico. We are looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate Puerto Rico’s rich baseball heritage and passion for the game and continue our mission to grow the game of baseball in our community while fostering the shared love for our national pastime.”
The last time MLB played in Puerto Rico was in 2018, when the Cleveland Indians hosted the Minnesota Twins in a two-game set.
