Mets vs Nationals MLB Live Stream Reddit for Game 3 of Series

The New York Mets (22-25) have won the last two games of their home series against the Washington Nationals (19-29) and are looking to clinch a third win Wednesday night to take the series.

Nationals Lineup

After battling through somewhat of a slump, outfielder Juan Soto hit a homer almost fully out of the park. Before that game, he had only gotten eight hits from 33 at bats, none of which were homers. The Nationals will need more consistency in the power department from Soto to avoid a series loss.

Mets Lineup

After setting the rookie first half home run record for the Mets with his 16th, Pete Alonso will remain in the starting lineup for the Mets. In the last seven games alone, Alonso has hit four homers from his 21 at bats.

The Mets were also bit by the injury bug on Wednesday. Outfielder Brandon Nimmo was just placed on the ten-day injured list, leaving only three natural outfielders that are still healthy. The Mets plan to call up Rajai Davis to take his place.

This four-game series will finish up Thursday at 12:10 p.m. ET before the Mets welcome in the Detroit Tigers for a three-game series that will begin on Friday night and finish up Sunday afternoon.
