How to Live Stream Royals vs Mets
First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET at Kauffman Stadium. The game will be televised locally on WPIX and FOX Sports Kansas City, and you can find additional streams on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Mets Lineup
The biggest omission from New York's lineup is slugger J.D. Davis. Todd Frazier is back in the lineup at the hot corner and batting sixth, while Aaron Altherr will get the start in left field and bat ninth.
Amed Rosario will be tonight's designated hitter and remain the lead off hitter, with Luis Guillorme getting the start at shortstop and batting seventh.
The Mets have Jacob deGrom going tonight, who in 24 starts this season owns a 7-7 record with a 2.68 ERA and 189 strikeouts over 148 innings. He's been even more dominant lately, posting a 1.20 ERA over his last seven starts.
Royals Lineup
The usual suspects of Whit Merrifield, Alex Gordon, Hunter Dozier and Jorge Soler make up the top four spots in the Royals lineup. However, a couple outfield spots have been changed for tonight's contest.
Brett Phillips will move over to center field and bat sixth, while Cheslor Cuthbert will start tonight at third base and bat fifth. Dozier will move from the hot corner to right field.
Right-hander Jakob Junis will get the start for Kansas City, who in 25 starts owns an 8-10 record with a 4.80 ERA, including a 4-2 record and a 3.20 ERA over his last seven starts.
