Mets vs Yankees MLB Live Stream Reddit for Subway Series Opener

After a disappointing rain-out, the New York Mets (32-33) and the New York Yankees (40-24) are set to kick off the 2019 edition of the Subway Series with some doubleheader action.

Mets Lineup

Jeff McNeil leads things off for the Mets as they try to win for the fifth time in six games. He's followed by Michael Conforto and slugger Pete Alonso, who leads the team with 21 home runs. Dominic Smith slides into the cleanup spot for good reason. Smith has posted a 1.041 OPS in 88 plate appearances this year.

Zack Wheeler (5-3, 4.61 ERA) gets the start for the Mets. Wheeler has gone at least seven innings in six of his last seven starts.

Yankees Lineup

The scorching hot DJ LeMahieu bats atop the order for the Yankees as he enters play batting .364 in his last seven games. He's followed by Aaron Hicks, after whom Luke Voit and Gary Sanchez will bat. Voit and Sanchez are both in line to start in the All-Star Game.

Masahiro Tanaka (3-5, 3.42 ERA) will start for the Yankees. He's struggled a bit in his last two starts, allowing eight runs in 12 innings of work.
