VIDEO: Mic'd Up Freddie Freeman Narrates His Journey Home on Dropped Fly Ball and Gives us Incredible Quote
By Michael Luciano

So that's what Freddie Freeman meant when he said that he was exciting to have Marcell Ozuna behind him in the Atlanta Braves lineup! Ozuna launched a pop-up in a Spring Training game against the Boston Red Sox, but some wind and the Florida sun prevented the Red Sox from fielding it cleanly. Freeman scored from first on this play, and the mic'd up first baseman narration's of the busted play is simply hilarious. As a first baseman whose job on earth it is to judge short fly balls, he knew EXACTLY what was coming.

There was, indeed, some wind. Cue the Benny Hill music.
In all honestly, it seems that a silly little quirk like mic'ing the players for Spring Training games has created five times the viral clips as any other March. Wise marketing.
honestly, the MLB and the players agreeing on being mic'd during Spring Training has been awesome .. really hope we see it more often, could honestly grow the game and make it more appealing to fans https://t.co/Gu6lwSWAzi

Wise marketing any time there's wind, at least.
