VIDEO: Michael Brantley Hits Astros Security Official With Line Drive Foul Ball in Horrifying Scene
By Scott Rogust

The epic battle between the New York Yankees and Houston Astros took a backseat after a scary accident during Game 2 of the ALCS. After George Springer tied the game with a fifth-inning solo home run, Michael Brantley was next up to bat. During his duel with Yankees reliever Adam Ottavino, Brantley sent a screaming line drive foul ball to Houston's dugout. Unfortunately, the liner hit an Astros security guard, bringing members of both teams to their knees.

As you can see in the clip, both the Yankees and Astros were visibly upset that an innocent bystander was struck.
The staffer was, reportedly, a medical supervisor on the security team.

No update on the guard was provided, as of this writing. The only thing that's worth noting is that the FOX broadcast refused to air video of what happened due to its violent nature.
Oh no, awful scene in the Astros dugout. Somebody got hit by that foul ball. Folks on the field look so upset.
