Michael Kay Returning to Yankees' Booth on Saturday Against Indians
By Michael Luciano

The voice of the Yankees has been silenced for over a month following surgery on his vocal cords in mid-July.
Luckily, for listeners and his own well-being, Michael Kay is just days away from rejoining the YES Network booth.
Kay will make his return to TV on Saturday, when the Yankees host the Cleveland Indians in their third game of a four-game set.

For those who remain consumed with the never-ending New York radio ratings war between he and Mike Francesa, Kay will also return to his radio show on Aug. 26.
Kay will return to 98.7 ESPN New York Show on Aug. 26, according to the station’s GM Tim McCarthy. https://t.co/rtqKvnYbyH

Kay, who has been a broadcaster for the Yankees since 1992 and on TV with YES since 2002, was replaced by YES regular Ryan Ruocco, who has filled in for Yankees games in the past, and earned rave reviews for his performance as the No. 1 guy in Kay's absence.
"The guys who are producing, at times, are the guys you never thought could produce like this."

Strong words from @RyanRuocco about how the #Yankees offense is surging with the next (and the next, and the next) man up. pic.twitter.com/1tJVukRKXl
Kay can be a divisive figure among Yankee fans, but it seems like just about everyone is glad to see the man healthy and ready to return to his usual spot on YES.
