Michael Penix Jr. puts on a show in thrilling Sugar Bowl win over Texas
The Sugar Bowl lived up to the hype. While Texas was favored to come away with a victory, the UW Huskies didn't give a darn about that, especially Michael Penix Jr. The star quarterback put on a show, throwing for well over 400 yards and two touchdowns.
While Texas had a chance to steal the victory on the final play of the game, things weren't mean to be and the Huskies are moving on to the National Championship Game against the Michigan Wolverines next Monday night.
Michigan is already an early favorite to come out on top, but the Huskies will be hoping to record yet another upset. UW has been counted out far too many times this season, yet they've still managed to come away with a close win. We'll see if they can pull off one more stunner during the final game of the campaign.
