With the college football season at its end, programs are beginning to work out their rosters and replace departing players ahead of the upcoming campaign. When it comes to loss of talent, no one had it worse than Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.

Amongst all teams in the FBS, Michigan led the pack as the program saw 41 players leave Ann Arbor to graduation or the NFL Draft.

That's definitely concerning for Harbaugh, whose contract expires at the conclusion of the 2021 season. It doesn't help that his white whale in the Ohio State Buckeyes lost just 26 upperclassmen, which is minimal when compared to Michigan's 40-plus.

The re-tooled Michigan team will also have the eighth-toughest schedule in the entire nation in 2020, according to 247Sports.

Harbaugh was brought to Ann Arbor to be the Wolverines football program's savant. So far, that's been far from the case. Yes, he's strong in recruiting, but that hasn't led to success, especially in the big games. Just look at his bowl game record of 1-4 during his Wolverines tenure.

The heat and pressure is rising for Harbaugh to bring winning football to the Wolverines program. Losing 41 upperclassmen doesn't make that task any easier.
