The Michigan Wolverines and the Texas Tech Red Raiders are set to battle it out this afternoon at the CWS. The Wolverines can advance to the finals with a win, but if Texas Tech wins they will play another game on Saturday to decide who will go to the final.

Karl Kauffmann is likely to get the start for Michigan today. He has previously pitched against the Red Raiders in the CWS earning the win, and only giving up three runs in the effort.

Texas Tech Lineup

The Red Raiders will try and force another game Saturday against Michigan with a win this afternoon. The Texas Tech offense is led by first basemen Cameron Warren, who has 18 homers and 79 runs batted in. Josh Jung has also been the life blood of the offense, hitting .343 with 15 home runs.
