VIDEO: Mike Trout Announces He and His Wife Are Expecting Their First Child With Awesome Twitter Post
Mike Trout is already a superstar with the Los Angeles Angels. He is a three-time MVP, eight-time All-Star, and just signed a deal worth over $420 million. Well, that lofty sum of money will come in handy during the next stage of Trout's life: fatherhood. The 28-year-old took to Twitter to reveal that he and his wife Jessica Cox are expecting their first child, a baby boy, who is due in August.

The video Trout shared is incredibly heartfelt and emotional and even features a successful gender reveal announcement in which the star outfielder expressed his joy at the news they are having a boy.
Trout, who often evades the public eye, was more than happy to share this bit of his private life with his fans and followers.

Angels fans will now wait to see if Trout shows up to games in August and September with bags under his eyes. Even if he does, he is great enough to overcome some sleep deprivation that is bound to happen.
