Rumors and proposed plans have been floating around regarding a potential 2020 MLB season. The likely scenario is having the teams go to one or two central locations and only travel from a hotel to the stadium and back. That raises a lot of questions of whether that works for everyone and Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout pointed out some major concerns he already has about the rumored plans during an interview with NBC Sports.

Trout pointed out how his wife is pregnant. He is not going to miss the birth of his first child and the Angels losing him for an extended period of time, such as for a mandatory quarantine, would not be ideal. This is just one example that can be applied in different ways to everyone in baseball. Being separated from family for several months may not be possible for many people.

Right now it is clear a normal season cannot take place. Trout also noted how any plan would have to be approved by the players, so the league would have to answer every possible logistical question as everyone's personal situation is different. A star of the game like Trout raising some initial concerns should help the league as it formulates a plan to return to play.
