Vikings Trade Buzz for Trent Williams Growing Ahead of NFL Draft
By Mark Powell

In the Washington Redskins' desperation to trade away offensive tackle Trent Williams, they've reached out to just about every potential suitor in the NFL ahead of Thursday's draft.
The compensation Washington could receive at this point for Williams is limited, as the process has dragged out to the point the Skins would rather rid themselves of the problem than keep the former Pro Bowler on their roster any longer. This weekend ought to provide a major breakthrough on the trade front, and the Minnesota Vikings should pull the trigger.
Paul Allen on KFAN said the #Vikings could be trading for Washington LT Trent Williams today with the compensation being a Day-3 pick.

Team can then focus on CB and WR in 1st round.
“Don’t be surprised if there’s more action for the purple & gold today than a Rambo movie.”
A Day 3 pick is hardly a steep price to pay for one of the top tackles in all of football, even if his salary cap hit is substantial.
The Vikings can afford such a financial liability, and in the same offseason they traded away Stefon Diggs and failed to find a trade partner for Anthony Harris, this is the kind of move that can make fans forget about their misfires.
The #Browns, #Jets, #Vikings and #Eagles have shown the most interest in #Redskins Left Tackle Trent Williams.

Minnesota isn't alone in their pursuit of Williams, of course, and the Redskins are willing to wait as long as possible to get the highest compensation.
With that in mind, the Vikings shouldn't take part in any games. Instead, it's time to make a legitimate offer before things get out of control.
