NBA players are known for showing up to games wearing flashy outfits expressing their extravagant personalities, but seldom do you see a player wear their own jersey walking down the tunnel.

That is precisely what New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson did prior to the Knicks' clash with the Chicago Bulls, opting for his own threads instead of a throwback or fashion statement.

Robinson, along with third overall pick RJ Barrett, has been one of the only bright spots on the Knicks during their poor start to the season, as the franchise attempts to change the course of their currently sinking ship.

The 7-1, 21-year-old center looks to be a cornerstone of the Knicks for the near future, as in the two games that he has played in this year, Robinson is averaging 11.5 points per game, along with 6.5 rebounds in only 18 minutes.

Led by Robinson and Barrett, the Knicks have hope for the future in a weak Eastern Conference after being snubbed by All-Stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, who both chose to go across town and join the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.

On second thought, showing up in your own jersey is totally a Kyrie move.
