MLB 2020 Schedule Revealed
By Parker White
There is plenty of time left in the 2019 season and plenty of heated battles to get fans' attention, but get your pens out and start circling dates for next season, as MLB has released the 2020 schedule for all 30 teams.
Opening Day will take place on March 26, where every team is scheduled to play. You'll still have your bitter divisional rivalries ready to go, but there'll also be some thrilling interleague games, game played overseas, and special ceremonial games like the Little League Classic, London Series, and Field of Dreams game.
One date that is special for one AL West power is March 31, which is the home opener for the Texas Rangers in their new stadium.
Also strange? No Yankees-Red Sox battle at Fenway Park until...June?
Bizarre.
2020 Astros Schedule
Get ready, Houston fans, because you're going to...Yankee Stadium during the season's final week for a four-game set.
If both of those teams haven't yet cemented their playoff berths by then, that could be one hell of a test.
And oh, by the way, the Astros head on the road to face another contender for the season's final series...
2020 Braves Schedule
Braves-Astros, ending the year at SunTrust, presumably with many marbles in play.
If this season is any indicator, the most intriguing Opening Day matchup is between the Washington Nationals and New York Mets at Citi Field. Another notable rivalry to begin the season is between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.
