Opening Day will take place on March 26, where every team is scheduled to play. You'll still have your bitter divisional rivalries ready to go, but there'll also be some thrilling interleague games, game played overseas, and special ceremonial games like the Little League Classic, London Series, and Field of Dreams game.

Every team is scheduled to play on Opening Day, for the third year in a row. That's excellent news, and how it should be every single year. Kudos, MLB.

One date that is special for one AL West power is March 31, which is the home opener for the Texas Rangers in their new stadium.
Also strange? No Yankees-Red Sox battle at Fenway Park until...June?

Bizarre.
2020 Astros Schedule

If both of those teams haven't yet cemented their playoff berths by then, that could be one hell of a test.
And oh, by the way, the Astros head on the road to face another contender for the season's final series...
2020 Braves Schedule
Braves-Astros, ending the year at SunTrust, presumably with many marbles in play.
Besides Red Sox, #Braves' home interleague schedule includes series against Mike Trout and the Angels (June 3-5) and season-ending series against Astros (Sept. 25-27). They'll have home-and-home with the A's including 2 at Oakland July 21-22 and two at home Aug 25-26.

If this season is any indicator, the most intriguing Opening Day matchup is between the Washington Nationals and New York Mets at Citi Field. Another notable rivalry to begin the season is between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.
