MLB Now Expected to Delay Opening Day Even Further in Latest Shocking Report
By Thomas Carannante

Has your life been miserable without sports for about five days now? Well it's about to get much worse.
According to the latest buzz surrounding the MLB, baseball isn't expected to host Opening Day until JULY 4 due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has put the entire world on hold over the past week.

Commissioner Rob Manfred reportedly held a conference call with all MLB teams advising them to shut down their facilities, which is likely a direct response to teams like the New York Yankees holding a vote among players to stay at Spring Training to continue working out. Once a Yankees minor leaguer tested positive for the coronavirus, that was probably the last straw.
This is going to be one of the most bizarre seasons (once we fully resume) in the history of sports.

While a July 4 Opening Day would be fitting because #AMERICA, it's hard to fathom baseball not starting for nearly four months. Stay tuned for updates on this front, especially since we've been hearing so much in such a short amount of time.
