MLB Indefinitely Bans Women Who Flashed Gerrit Cole Behind Home Plate During World Series Game 5
By Thomas Carannante
Major League Baseball apparently isn't part of the "Free the Nipple" movement.
During Game 5 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals, Gerrit Cole was gearing up for a crucial 3-2 pitch to Ryan Zimmerman in the bottom of the seventh, but then stepped off the rubber. Why? Two women -- Julia Rose and Lauren Summer -- took it upon themselves to flash Cole while he was about to wind up and he couldn't handle the sauce.
Unfortunately for those ladies, they've been banned from MLB events indefinitely.
Funny how the MLB can identify flashers within minutes and send them a personalized letter notifying them of their fate just hours later, but they can't seem to handle various other troubling issues putting the league in a bad light (i.e. Astros culture concerns, Rob Drake's tweet, Tyler Skaggs' death, etc.)
But here we are. Commissioner Rob Manfred had to make sure there'd be no boobies in Games 6 or 7.
Ladies, unless you want to get banned by Major League Baseball, we need a new strategy to distract the Astros and lift the Nats to victory.
