Angels Lineup
The Angels enter this game on a three-game losing streak, and have dropped the first two games of the series against the Cards. Pitcher Tyler Skaggs (6-6) will get the start hoping to build off his last appearance, where he pitched 7 1/3 innings of one-run ball. Skaggs currently sports a 4.61 ERA, with 70 strikeouts in 70.1 innings pitched.
Justin Upton will be one to watch for on Sunday night, as he's hit three home runs since making his 2019 debut just six games ago, including one in this series.
Cardinals Lineup
On the side for the Cardinals, they enter this game on a two-game win streak, and are looking to complete the sweep of the Angels on Sunday night.
Jordan Hicks will be unavailable for the next couple of games after suffering triceps tendinitis. The Cards president John Mozeliak stated that he believes John Gant will fill the closer role while Hicks is on the mend.
The Cardinals have struggled on the offensive end this year, as they've scored just 351 runs so far, good for 18th in the majors, and are a bottom-10 team in OPS with a .723. Pitcher Miles Mikolas (5-7) will get the start Sunday night as he looks to continue his dominance at home, where he has a 2.55 ERA with 39 strikeouts in 53 innings.
The Cards would love for Mikolas to deliver the sweep during primetime baseball, that's for sure.
