Disgraced former Houston Astros manager AJ Hinch has disappeared from the public eye since his year-long suspension from baseball and ultimate firing from the Astros on Jan. 13.

MLB Network has managed to lock down an elusive interview with the unemployed manager and will air it on MLB Tonight on Friday, Jan. 7 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

It's hard to know exactly what to expect from this interview. For one, we might end up seeing Hinch be completely confessional. He was caught, and if given the opportunity, should come clean to the public as well. Dallas Keuchel already said that they did it. There's no more hiding it. Hinch has also shown an extra level of professionalism that players on his former team have lacked on occasion. Being truly honest to the media and the fans would be the best way for Hinch to go about it.

From Hinch's perspective, however, this could be the perfect platform to help the Astros franchise's image, and even his own.

Such an interview has a ton of speculation and mystique surrounding it. There is, however, one thing to be sure of when it comes to this interview; for any baseball fan, it is must-see TV.
