MLB Players React on Twitter to Astros' Sign Stealing Scandal
By Parker White

Fans and reporters are not the only ones who care about the Houston Astros' sign stealing scandal dating back to 2017. As you can imagine, players who actually had to deal with the Stros' alleged behavior have their own feelings about this whole mess. And none of them are particularly happy.
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Kevin Gausman seemed pretty furious about the news, and tweeted an uncomfortable but poignant question in response.
This Astros thing is bad!!! Guys lost jobs, got sent down, missed service time bc of how they were hit in HOU. Does anyone really think they only did this in 17? #getreal

He's surely got a point here. Plenty of pitchers have been sent down these last few years because the Astros pounded them at Minute Maid Park. If rule-breaking contributed to this, the punishment needs to be significant.
And seriously, if the Astros cheated, do you think 2017 was the only year in which they partook in bad acts?
New York Yankees star Aaron Judge seemed pretty perplexed about the news himself.
Wait... what....? https://t.co/z4i9MHTAVr

You are all of us, Aaron.
Not surprisingly, former Cleveland Indians starter Trevor Bauer weighed in, showing a video of Alex Bregman hitting a homer off him during that postseason on an off-speed pitch.

Hmmmm.
Evan Longoria wasn't afraid to give his opinion, either, and he's still clearly in the denial portion of the five stages of grief.
Say it ain’t so @astros!!! Please no!

Yes, Evan. This really does feel real.
Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger had no problem tagging Bregman directly and tweeting this snarky GIF.

Ah, so teams around the league already knew the Astros were cheaters? Interesting.
Sadly, this story isn't going away anytime soon. You can bet there will be more player reactions (and recriminations) once more information comes out-- especially if and when that information makes the Astros look even worse.
