MLB Teams' Latest Worry of Potential Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel Signings Should Infuriate Fans
By Jerry Trotta

Can somebody please explain to us the knowledge of complaining about a predicament that you helped formulate in the first place?
That's exactly where current MLB teams stand in their latest objections to not sign free agents Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel. Per Bob Nightengale of USA Today, un-named teams are remaining cautious in signing the former All-Stars because they probably won't be ready until July.
Yup, we the fans are absolutely infuriated. And we have every right to be.
Teams involved in the Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel talks are leery that either will be ready before July. Neither have faced #MLB hitters in eight months, and the landscape is filled with pitchers who struggled after signing late. They are unrestricted free agents at midnight

This is literally the epitome and definition of hypocrisy. Forget signing Kimbrel or Keuchel sometime in the offseason. That wasn't likely to ever happen given their outrageous salary demands. But why not bring them aboard in say March or April so that they have a month to ready themselves before the true meat of the schedule comes around?
Instead, these clubs are out here grumbling and whining that pitchers struggle mightily after signing late...for waiting this long to sign them!

The reasons may be sound, but they do not matter. Neither pitcher has a job, and that serves as a major issue within the sport. Especially when its teams are the major reason that we are here today.
