MMA Legend Randy Couture Placed in Intensive Care Following Heart Attack

Fight fans around the world are sending their very best to The Natural today. Randy Couture, the iconic mixed martial artist who retired in 2011 at the age of 47 as one of the greatest ever to grace the Octagon, is receiving treatment in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack, per TMZ.
As TMZ notes, Couture walked into the hospital after feeling that something was wrong during a workout. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery.
Whew.
Couture dominated both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions, winning UFC titles in both. He will be remembered for his meticulous approach as a ground fighter honed as a college Greco-Roman wrestler and US Olympic alternate. He's also legendary for his longevity, winning four title fights past the age of 40 against the likes of Tito Ortiz, Vitor Belfort, Tim Sylvia, and Gabriel Gonzaga.
