Mookie Betts Hit 3 Home Runs Against Yankees After Meeting Inspirational 10-Year-Old

We are getting use to reigning AL MVP Mookie Betts crushing three home runs in one game, as it was his fifth such game of his career Friday night, but I don't think he'll top his most recent performance against New York for many reasons.

Before Friday night's game, Betts and his manager Alex Cora met 10-year-old Nico Sapienza, who was at the ballpark on behalf of the Make-A-Wish foundation.

His dream was to meet Betts, and the Red Sox outfielder gladly obliged, before the young boy asked him to hit a homer.

Betts not only homered once; he did it three times in an important rivalry game.

It may boil down to being one of those special nights that won't be duplicated, but it looks like Betts and the Red Sox may have found a good luck charm. Should Boston find a way to have Nico and his family at every home game?

As long as Boston is busy multiplying his requests by three, this offense should continue coming pretty easily.
