More Details From Texans-Seahawks Jadeveon Clowney Trade Further Prove Seattle Robbed Houston

It seems the Houston Texans have learned the hard way of life without a general manager. One might say they grossly overpaid for Miami Dolphins left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills, but that wasn't even the worst of it.

Their trade with the Seattle Seahawks for star pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney was a bit skeptical too, especially after Madden wouldn't even accept it, and now further details have emerged that make it look even worse for Houston.

So Seattle paying $8 million for one of the best defenders in the league and then will get a third-round draft pick if he doesn't re-sign with them? Talk about the deal of the century for the Seahawks. Let's not forget this was a preferred destination for Clowney, so it's not out of the realm of possibility Seattle is able to bring him back on board.

While the Texans upgraded in areas that were absolutely crucial and took an admirable shot at going for it in wake of Andrew Luck's retirement, the lack of a GM certainly played a role in them getting taken advantage of in both of their big trades.
