Mugshot of Female Dodgers Fan Who Got Arrested for Hugging Cody Bellinger Has Been Released
By Max Scoli
Madison Aranda, 18, was the Los Angeles Dodgers fan who ran onto the field Monday to try and get a hug from outfielder Cody Bellinger (she was the second offender in two days). She was immediately escorted off the field and arrested for the incident, and her mugshot is just as funny as the whole situation itself.
Why so sad? What did you think was going to happen?
This is becoming quite common for Cody Bellinger. In fact, this was the second time a fan ran onto the field to interact with him in as many games.
The young girl explained her actions, stating the following:
"I love baseball, especially Dodger baseball. And I love Cody Bellinger," said Aranda, via azfamily.com. "He's just one of my favorites and he's like a rookie and he's been doing so great and he's just super handsome."
She continues to say that "at some point I didn't believe to get like arrested as in like thrown in jail, but I did know that I figured I was just going to get like charged to pay money."
Apparently, she wasn't to fond of her trip behind bars.
"I was there for over 12 hours, I probably only got like a good 20 minutes of sleep and you know, I just feel like I wasn't the type of person that belonged in jail," Aranda said. "I definitely won't do that again and I feel like I've served my time in a way because it's super hard..."
When she isn't disrupting play during MLB games, it appears Aranda moonlights as a volleyball player.
Bellinger only hopes that fans will not disrupt games anymore, and if they are true fans, they will respect his wishes.
