Multiple NFL players suspended for betting on games

Welp, this is not the news that people were expecting on Friday with the NFL Draft less than a week away. It has been announced that multiple players, including former Detroit Lions first-round pick Jameson Williams, have been suspended for betting on NFL games.

Williams is the headliner here and Lions fans are not happy. Williams has been suspended for the first six games of the 2023 campaign, which is a bit of a blow for Detroit.

Williams is a fantastic talent, but he's a young man who has made a huge mistake. Now, he's going to miss a large chunk of the campaign because of it.
