Reddit User With Hilarious Name Spread a Myles Garrett-Seahawks Trade Rumor and Fans Bought it

A wild rumor hit the Internet on Monday thanks to a Reddit user with a legendary name --more on that in a moment.
The rumor was that the Cleveland Browns were considering trading Myles Garrett to the Seattle Seahawks. Yes, really...and people bought it.
So Seahawks subreddit has some sort of insider and he was the first guy who said Britt was being cut.

Now he’s saying something is happening and it involves a big name, he won’t say if we’re trading for one or trading one away, hes hopeful it gets done tomorrow?#VountCondotta pic.twitter.com/eqdzTDJCXX
There was no basis to these rumors other than one man's word. Yet, some Seahawks fans ran with it as the rumor was shared on the radio by...

EveryoneLovesNudez. This is where we are at right now as sports fans. Itching for any sort of news, some jumped on the word of EveryoneLovesNudez and bought into the rumor of a potential blockbuster trade involving Garrett. Unfortunately for them, the rumors were shut down instantly.
Seahawks Twitter get a grip... Sorry to burst your bubble but the Myles Garrett Trade rumors couldn't be more wrong (I would love for it to be true).

No team in their right mind is going to trade one of the NFL's truly ELITE pass rushers for a LB, a 2nd and 7th RD pick.
When something seems too good to be true it usually is and this rumor was no different. The Browns would be insane to trade Garrett and the only news surrounding him has been about the team working on an extension.
As much as I don’t want to break up the entertaining twitter brouhaha between #Browns and #Seahawks fans, Myles Garrett isn’t being traded to Seattle. Cleveland is working hard on an extension. Garrett will be shot to Mars in a rocket before he’s dealt to Seattle. Not. Happening.

This should serve as yet another warning not to trust random rumors that appear on the Internet, but at least Seahawks fans have a new hero in someone with a simple but legendary Reddit username.
