N'Keal Harry Frustrated by Missed Call That Cost Him TD vs Chiefs
By Jerry Trotta
By now we're sure you're aware of the shambolic refereeing display that cost the New England Patriots an impartial ending in their eventual loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Perhaps the worst of the bunch came when rookie wideout N'Keal Harry was unforgivably ruled out of bounds before clearly extending the pigskin inside the pylon, negating a touchdown that would have brought the Pats within three with roughly 13 minutes remaining in the fourth.
As expected, Harry was beside himself while speaking to reporters after the game at his locker.
Harry continued to note that calls like that are out of the players' control, but that fact doesn't make the gaffe any less infuriating.
It's almost impossible to not sympathize with the Arizona State product here, despite him playing for a franchise that seemingly always gets the benefit of the doubt from officials in big games.
Harry was simply deprived of his signature moment as a rookie in the NFL, all because a perfectly positioned zebra couldn't properly determine that his feet remained in bounds.
To think that this is even a storyline on Monday is nothing short of maddening.
