Urban Meyer's Son Nate Joins Cincinnati Bearcats as a Walk-On and We Don't Know How to Feel
By Michael Luciano

Former Florida Gators and Ohio State Buckeyes national champion head coach Urban Meyer might have left the college ranks, but his son is here to keep the Meyer blood pumping through the circulatory system of college football.
Nate Meyer, a junior at the University of Cincinnati, will join the Bearcats as a walk-on, per head coach Luke Fickell. The younger Meyer claims that he wants to follow in his dad's footsteps as a college football coach.

Meyer was a quality player on the Bearcats baseball team over the last two seasons, but has now made the jump to football.
Nate, the son of a man who made his name as a wide receivers coach before being handed the Bowling Green head coaching job and popularizing the spread option offense, has already participated in meetings with the Bearcats wideouts. Fickell, a former Meyer assistant at OSU, expects him to contribute on special teams early in his career before he gets reps with Desmond Ridder and the offense.

Just when college football thought that they had finally got themselves out of the Meyer business, Nate is here to start a whole new generation of future star head coaches.
