Former Steelers WR Nate Washington Destroys Antonio Brown for Bullying JuJu Smith-Schuster
By Mark Powell
Oh, how much can change in a year.
Antonio Brown went from respected NFL wideout to most polarizing figure in the league. Brown faces serious sexual assault allegations and is awaiting word from Roger Goodell's months-long investigation about a looming suspension. For now, though, he's resorted to his usual tricks of trashing former teammates on social media.
After taking yet another dig at former teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has notably only said the right things when asked about Brown, Nate Washington came to the USC product's defense while he remains silent.
*Checks Notes* all true! Washington is a former Steeler himself, playing for the franchise from 2005-08 before moving on to Tennessee.
It's odd that a 23-year-old like Smith-Schuster is acting like the true pro while the likes of Brown continues to pepper him with unnecessary shots. Smith-Schuster was injured all season, and while his production wasn't up to par, comments from his former mentor is surely not what JuJu needs right now at this stage in his development.
Brown's antics are entertaining to some, but they could come back to cost him as he burns every remaining bridge back onto an NFL team.
