Nation's No. 2 Ranked Pro-Style QB Sets 2 Different Visits to Georgia Before Early Signing Day
Although Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs already hold a commitment from the nation's No. 4 pro-style quarterback for 2020 in Carson Beck, but that doesn't mean they're done recruiting signal callers. In fact, the No. 2 pro-style QB is high on the Bulldogs and will be headed to Athens in the near future.
In an interview with 247Sports' Greg Biggins, C.J. Stroud revealed he'll be taking an unofficial visit to UGA later this month when they host Texas A&M. He'll also be returning to campus for an official visit in early December.
Stroud, a 6-3, 195-pounder out of powerhouse Rancho Cucamonga in California, is the top uncommitted QB prospect. He holds a boatload of offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Washington State, Oregon, UCLA, USC and many others.
He told Biggins he'll visiting visiting Oregon in late November and Ohio State likely on Dec. 14, the final weekend before the Early Signing Period starts on Dec. 18.
With the Bulldogs hoping to take two QBs for this class, landing Stroud's signature would obviously be a monster get. He was named MVP of the Elite 11 Finals and has seen his recruitment take off ever since.
Before you know it, Dec. 18 will arrive and the top recruits in the nation will be ready to finalize things with their future college programs. Where will Stroud end up? UGA fans out there surely hope with them in the SEC East.
