Nationals Fan Who Took Home Run off the Chest Saved Bud Light a Ton of Advertising Dollars
By Parker White

In Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday, Houston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez opened the scoring with a two-run homer. While it's noteworthy that Alvarez broke out of slump with that swing, what made headlines is the fact a Nationals fan holding two Bud Lights took the homer off the chest and didn't drop either beer.
He's become a bit of a folk hero, and given he's provided Bud Light with a ton of free advertising, Anheuser-Busch is hooking the man up.
JUST IN: @budlight is sending “beers over baseball” guy, Nationals fan Jeff Adams, to tomorrow night’s Game 6 in Houston. They’ve also made him a shirt. Media value to Bud Light, according to @ApexMarketing, was $7.2 million. pic.twitter.com/fvP2bz2PoH

The fan's name is Jeff Adams and he'll be rooting for his Nats in Houston on Tuesday.
$7.2 MILLION worth of free marketing. And the only money Bud Light will have to spend is on a couple of tickets and maybe giving this guy beer for life. https://t.co/ONs4uUrgCr

While this is a fine gesture from Bud Light and all, let's be real here. This man deserves free beer for life. World Series tickets and a t-shirt don't last forever, nor are they worth $7.2 million. Send Adams a 30-pack every month until he can't physically consume alcohol anymore.
