For the first time in franchise history, the Washington Nationals will be playing in the World Series, but since they'll start on the road in the American League, their starting lineup is a little different than usual.

National League teams batting in AL ballparks tend to have ample resources, especially due to the implementation of the designated hitter. For the Nats, Howie Kendrick will get the first shot at DH, batting fifth.

The first five in the batting order is the exact same as it was for Game 4 of the NLCS, highlighted by Juan Soto in the cleanup spot. However, with Kendrick being the designated hitter, veteran Asdrubal Cabrera will get the start at second base and bat sixth, followed by first baseman Ryan Zimmerman.

Kurt Suzuki will start behind the plate and bat eighth with Max Scherzer on the mound, and the Nationals lineup will be rounded out with center fielder Victor Robles, who is hitting over .300 in the postseason.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET.
