Nationals Reveal Lineup Backing Stephen Strasburg for NLCS Game 3
By Sam Dunn
The Washington boys couldn't be in better shape ahead of the first-ever NL Championship Series game at Nationals Park.
Already ahead 2-0 in this clash thanks to back-to-back dazzling pitching performances in St. Louis, the Nats head back home with Stephen Strasburg on the hill ready to push the Redbirds to the brink.
Victor Robles is back in center field in place of Michael A. Taylor, whose third-inning home run in Game 2 gave the Nationals a lead they'd never relinquish. The first seven spots in the order remain unchanged.
After all, why mess with a good thing? The NL Wild Card Game winners can basically do no wrong.
If the home team takes this one, this series may as well be over. The time for St. Louis to answer the challenge loud and clear is now -- right freakin' now -- but a man like Strasburg on the hill backed by a partisan crowd makes that task awfully difficult.
