The Washington Nationals (72-57) and the Chicago Cubs (69-60) are set to wrap up their three-game set at Wrigley Field on Sunday. The Nationals, in the midst of a four-game winning streak, took the first two games of the series.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on WGN, MASN and TBS with additional streams available via the MLB Streams subreddit, or on Fubo-TV (free trial!).
Nationals Lineup
Washington will look to keep the ball rolling on offense as they eye a series sweep. They've scored seven or more runs in seven of their last eight games. Strong performances from bats like Anthony Rendon and Juan Soto, both of whom have posted an OPS over 1.000 over their last 15 games, are to thank for the offense's recent surge.
Stephen Strasburg (15-5, 3.65 ERA) has been tabbed as the starter for Sunday's finale. He's coming off of a strong outing against the Pirates in which he fired seven innings of shutout baseball.
Cubs Lineup
Chicago, meanwhile, will try to stave off a sweep and keep close in the hunt for the NL Central title. They sit just a game and a half out of first place, and an offensive outburst could ensure that things don't get any worse than that. Outside of Nicholas Castellanos, who has posted a 1.153 OPS in a Cubs uniform, the offense has been fairly lackluster as of late.
Cole Hamels (7-4, 3.73 ERA) will try to get the Cubs back to their winning ways. He's struggled since returning from injury, putting up an 8.44 ERA in four starts.
Both teams are right in the thick of the playoff race, so Sunday's performance is one to keep an eye on.
