NBA Considering One-off Game for Charity During Coronavirus Pandemic

The NBA is currently in hiatus during the coronavirus pandemic and some teams have already completed testing to ensure they don't infect the general public.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has defended players being tested and has spun it into a positive by announcing the league is considering a one-off charity game featuring players who test negative for the virus.

This is a fun idea on paper. However, questions arise related to injury liability. Nonetheless, it's a contest fans would love to see.
I asked Adam Silver how he'd determine if the NBA season could resume, and if so, what it would look like - he told me the league is considering three different options for going forward, including a possible one-off event for charity. Said Silver: "all suggestions welcome." pic.twitter.com/rX7D5oJvup

Silver is doing his best to figure out ways to salvage the season. A charity game is a fun idea and gives fans something tangible to watch during a time of quarantine and social distancing. He would just have to convince players to travel and play in a game that does not count. Owners would also have to agree to allow players to take part.
The logistics are difficult, but it is still nice to see Silver try to do something during this tough time. Having a one-off game could do wonders for general morale in the country.
