You know how it went. The ball rotated in the air for what seemed like an eternity and finally landed on the rim, only to bounce FOUR times before falling through the net. But according to various Reddit and YouTube skeptics, the shot wasn't the product of physics. They claim it was controlled by a magnetic rim, the way that a puppet is disciplined by strings.

Call them "soldiers" or whatever you please. The fact of the matter is that these determined pessimists are out here claiming that the ball sounded "heavy" on the Scotiabank Arena rim!

According to one user, this so-called "missile technology" constricts the volume of the alleged magnetic pulses, which will the ball closer to the middle of the basket.
