8:30 pm will be the time Knicks fans have been waiting for/dreading eternally.
Top NBA Draft Prospects
Zion Williamson is, of course, the name on everybody's lips, but don't sleep on his Duke teammates, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. Murray State guard Ja Morant is the odds-on favorite to go No. 2 to whichever team is the first runner-up for Zion, and Texas Tech's Jarrett Culver and North Carolina's Coby White often rank just below the upper echelon in most mock drafts.
The odds have been changed up in this year's lottery in an effort to decrease tanking. Every team in the lottery will have a chance to jump into the top four, instead of just the top three. The worst teams also have a much more even shot at the top picks than previous years, with the bottom three finishers all registering a 14% chance at the top prize.

Of course with so many trades happening throughout the league, there are several protections on the picks as well.
The Memphis Grizzlies pick (currently eighth) is top-eight protected and would convey to the Boston Celtics if it falls out of it. The Dallas Mavericks pick (currently ninth) is top-six protected and is likely to convey to the Atlanta Hawks unless it jumps in the lottery. Finally, the much-complicated Sacramento Kings pick (currently 14th) was traded to the 76ers, who traded it to the Celtics with a top-1 protection; in other words, it will convey to the Celtics, unless it make the miraculous jump to first overall.
