NBA Suspends Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid 2 Games for Fight in 76ers-Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid have been exchanging blows on social media ever since engaging in a wild scrap during the Philadelphia 76ers clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Both players were ejected after the heated exchange, and now the league has issued an additional punishment for the star centers.
Embiid and Towns have each been suspended two games for their involvement in the brawl.

Ben Simmons was not fined or suspended, despite video showing him holding Towns in a headlock on the floor. Simmons' role in the incident has been described by both parties as that of a peacemaker, and thus he wasn't punished for his involvement.

It's no surprise to see that punishments were doled out after the wild physical exchange between two of the most recognizable players in the league.
The brawl occurred midway through the third quarter on Oct. 30, and Embiid and Towns were the only two players fined or suspended for their actions.
